Following the Kyrgyz Republic’s accession to the EAEU in 2015 and the entry into force of the "Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union" (Annex No. 1 to the Treaty on the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union) as of January 1, 2018[1], the import requirements and documentation information are provided in the EAEU Customs Code, particularly in Articles 8, 89, 108. The unofficial English translation of the Code is avaialbe on the Eurasion Economic Commission’s website[2].
In addition, for the successful importation of products into the Kyrgyz Republic, according to the standard procedures of customs clearance and customs control of goods and vehicles crossing the border of the Kyrgyz Republic of January 13, 2000[3], the local partner/office is strongly advised to have the following documents readily available:

  1. Charter of the company (notarized copy)
  2. Certificate of registration from the Statistical Department (notarized copy)
  3. Certificate of registration from the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic (notarized copy)
  4. Kyrgyz taxpayer identification number with registration form of the taxpayer (notarized copy)
  5. An official document from the bank confirming the presence of an account (original)
  6. An official document from the tax inspectorate confirming company's good standing (original)
  7. Completed documentation concerning company's foreign trade activities
  8. Warranty for the right of cargo handling in customs sphere (original)
  9. Passport of the person who is in charge of customs clearing
Additionally, when imported goods arrive in country, the local counterpart must have the following documents at hand:
1.Contract between the local and the U.S. company
2.Invoice
3.Certificate of origination from the sending country
As per the EAEU Customs Code (Article 80, Cl. 7 the official translation of the abovementioned documents into Russian may be requested at the Kyrgyz customs points.
