Purpose of Data Collection

Chainalysis Inc. processes personal data about customers, prospects, employees, and job candidates who are located in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. The types of personal data that Chainalysis processes, and the purposes for such processing, are described in the company’s privacy policy, which is available at https://www.chainalysis.com/privacy-policy/, and in our Data Privacy Framework Policy for Human Resources Data, which is made available to employees internally. Purposes include, but are not limited to, providing requested services, conducting business-related tasks, communicating with individuals, and managing employment relationships. Chainalysis may disclose relevant personal data to recipients such as (1) its affiliates and subsidiaries, (2) third-party service providers the company has retained to perform services on its behalf, (3) third-party business partners, and (4) as otherwise described in its privacy policy.

Chainalysis Inc. (“Chainalysis” or “we”) complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce (“Data Privacy Framework”). Chainalysis has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. Chainalysis has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.
