Purpose of Data Collection
Personal data related to the receipt of email is collected in order to provide phishing protection to the email end user. INKY's phishing detection SaaS uses advanced computer algorithms to analyze emails for phishing threats. During this analysis, personal data is not collected and stored. INKY's software does collect email header information to inform our algorithms to improve phishing detection. A raw copy of each email is stored in an encrypted fashion in the event a customer reports an issue with a specific email. The raw email can then be used for troubleshooting. The raw copies are kept for a short duration before they are destroyed automatically.
