Purpose of Data Collection

Syndigo processes personal data for the purposes of: (1) enabling the use of CXH (for example, to provide access to CXH); (2) providing web analytics to Syndigo customers who use Enhanced Content; and (3) ensuring that only authorized users access CXH. The personal data processed by Syndigo includes: (1) biographical information, such as first and last name; (2) professional information, such as business email, role/job title, and company name; (3) contact information, such as email address, phone number, and physical address; (4) account information, such as username and password; and (5) web analytics data, such as user, session, and visit IDs (randomly generated GUID), IP address, and site behavior (only applicable to visitors of websites where customer Enhanced Content is embedded). Syndigo may share personal data with its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as with its service providers, who process personal data on Syndigo’s behalf, and who agree to use the personal data only to assist Syndigo in operating CXH or as required by law. Syndigo’s service providers may provide: (1) application hosting services; (2) cloud storage services; (3) colocation data services; (4) records and data management services; (5) Database Administration (DBA) services; (6) IT services; (7) security services; (8) email software; (9) CRM services; and (10) analytics services.

This Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) addresses individuals whose personal data Syndigo LLC (“Syndigo”) may receive in its web-based software application Content Experience Hub (“CXH”). In particular, Syndigo may receive Personal Data of customer-appointed key contacts associated with products that are syndicated with CXH, as well as web analytics data relating to website visitors of Syndigo’s customers using Syndigo’s Enhanced Content application.

Syndigo LLC (“Syndigo,” “we,” “us,” “our”) takes the protection of personal data (“Personal Data”) very seriously. This Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) addresses individuals whose Personal Data we receive in our web-based software application, Content Experience Suite (“CES”) as a service provider. In particular, we may receive Personal Data of customer-appointed key contacts associated with products that are syndicated with CES, as well as web analytics data relating to website visitors of our customers using Syndigo’s Enhanced Content application or other analytics features offered by Syndigo. In operating CES and in the context of this Notice, we act as a service provider. This means that our access to the Personal Data within CES for the purposes described in the Notice is limited to the services our customers have asked for. Please read this Notice to learn more about how we collect, use, and otherwise process your Personal Data within CES as a service provider.
