Purpose of Data Collection
G2 processes personal data for three purposes. We process personal data 1) to provide a customized experience (for example, collection and processing by cookies, in accordance with our Cookie Policy) and registering users on our website located at www.g2.com ("Site"); 2) to support review campaigns, a feature we provide to our customers whereby our customers provide us with the first name and email address of their customers, for the purposes of G2 conducting email outreach to those customers' customers and to encourage them to leave a review of the customer's software product on the Site; and 3) in connection with our proprietary applications, one of which automates review collection by interoperating with our customers' CRM platform ("Review Management Application"), and the other of which interoperates with various accounting software platforms to help businesses track their SaaS spend, utilization, and compliance ("G2 Track Application").
