Purpose of Data Collection
Our customers are domestic or international law firms, (or are corporate or government clients of those firms) who seek to prosecute or defend claims against third parties in judicial, administrative, regulatory, or private dispute resolution proceedings. Our customers use our software to develop, search, and analyze the data that they believe is potentially relevant to their particular dispute. Because a proportion of our customers operate in Europe, they rely on Privacy Shield certification to transfer data outside the EU and/or Switzerland to our offices in the US for use in our software. We also collect personal data in the context of our employment relationship with employees in the EU
