Purpose of Data Collection
Perform[cb] is a content-neutral performance marketing exchange focused on Cost-Per- Action (CPA) Cost-Per- Click (CPC), and Cost-Per- Install (CPI) affiliate marketing. Perform[cb] serves as a software platform through which third party participating advertisers are able to access independent third party affiliates that disseminate advertisements via the internet. Client data is processed for the execution of contractual responsibilities - contacting clients and billing purposes. The data is also processed to compare against a database of known bad actors and fraudulent affiliates, in order to prevent fraudulent activities. Client data is provided to third party accounting software systems, credit card processors, banks, collection agencies (as needed), and credit reporting agencies (for those clients applying for credit). The visitor data that is collected by Perform[cb] is limited to the user's IP address and User Agent. This data is processed in order to vet affiliate traffic for fraud, identify real users and detect fake traffic. Visitor data (IP address and User Agent) is provided to third party fraud detection and mitigation software, Forensiq, for fraud analysis in real time.
