Purpose of Data Collection

Our clients are mainly international reinsurers, reinsurance brokers and insurance companies. No members of the public can access our software; only insurers, reinsurers or brokers licensing our applications have access. From time to time insurance licensees of our applications, acting as the data controller, process information on our applications which do include PID. Regarding Human Resources (HR) data CATEX employs approximately 6-8 personnel in its London office. Two are consultants and the remaining personnel are employees of the US -based parent company. The US-based company pays both the consultants and employees monthly. The consultants email their invoices to the US company and the company, using OFX Business Services. wires the funds into their respective accounts. Our UK-based accountant manages the payroll information for the non-consultant employees, providing tax deduction and pension contribution information and emails that information to the US company monthly. The US company wires the required net amounts, using Western Union, into the accounts of the employees, Inland Revenue and the pension scheme. UK employees and consultants report to US based personnel who also maintain sickness and vacation logs of each.
