Purpose of Data Collection
Hirebridge receives personal data from job applicants, with the data subjects consent, concerning that data subjects education credentials, previous employers, identifying information, and information necessary to validate the their application for employment. This data is then provided to and managed by Hirebridge customers to facilitate the candidates desired engagement in a working employment relationship. As a data processor, we process and host EEA and Swiss Personal Information obtained from candidates applying to and inquiring about employment opportunities with our customers ("Customer Data") in providing our software applications ("Services"). We only process Personal Information on behalf and instructions of our customers, which in this instance are considered data controllers. This data consists of candidate resume data, and may include contact information, education history, and employment history, however this depends upon the needs of our customer, the data controllers, who decide what is needed through their use of the Services. The data is collected in order for our customers to facilitate their recruitment and hiring process. In certain cases, data is transferred to third party vendors pursuant to contractual requests from our customers, data controllers, who might use this data to perform background checks, skills assessments, or other functions related to the evaluation and hiring process. The data transferred may include general contact information, employment and education history.
