Purpose of Data Collection
Cadence Communications & Research and Velocity Scientific Communications offer medical communications services which includes both logistical and content support for global meeting services. This includes logistical support such as invitation, contracting, travel arrangements as well as honoraria and expense payments for HCPs for advisory boards and other meetings involving HCPs. The team is also supporting clients with all content in connection with these meetings such as pre- and post-meeting surveys, agenda development, slide development meeting summaries etc. This work requires that we collect and maintain personal data for projects necessary to complete the work for our clients. In addition we perform primary market research under both companies as well as Csequence. Both qualitative and quantitative research activities involving health care providers, patients, office practice managers, etc. require the collection of personal data to complete. However, we do NOT participate in clinical trial research, nor have direct access to patient medical records.
