Purpose of Data Collection

Brink’s provides secure cash transportation and processing services for banks, retailers, and a variety of other commercial and governmental customers. Every customer is provided a contract explaining the general security policies, regulations for each country as well as the requirements to complete the services provided. Each employee applicant is required to complete a comprehensive employment application and undergo a thorough interview regarding employment and personal background. CUSTOMER DATA – What customer data is captured as part of business operations? Customer data may include customer IDs, Customer Personal Names, Office Email / Phone Number, Company Mobile Numbers, Personal Mobile Numbers, Contact Details (delivery address, contact name and number), Business Address, Residential Address, Sub - Account Details (i.e. quantity of gold held and the holding account), Vehicle Registration Numbers, SIA Licenses, Signatures and Personal Addresses for NDAs, Customer Signatures (i.e. on delivery manifests & collection notes, visitor book), CCTV Images, Updated Photos, Photo ID, Finger and Hand Prints. Are customers notified if data is shared with a vendor, supplier, or third party? Yes, when subcontracting data is shared on a need to know basis. Customers will be informed as to the subcontractors’ names and know what information is shared. EMPLOYEE DATA – What employee data is captured as part of the application and employment process? Employee data may include name, DOB, Address, Phone Numbers, Children and Partner Details, Next Of Kin, Personal Email Address, Credit Details, Bank Details, Wage Deductions, Business and Personal References, Passport, Educational Details, Training Records, Risk Assessments and Accident Records, Medical Details, Sickness Records, Past Employer Details, Time and Attendance / Working Hours, Agency Staff Details, Staff Appraisals, Job Applicants, Employment Termination Records, Disciplinary Records, Annual Leave, Pensions, Salary, Employee number, Occupational Health Organizations Health/Agencies/Legal Providers, National Insurance Number, HM Revenue and Customs Records, Redundancy (A.K.A. Severance) Payments, SIA License, Driving Details, Nationality, Political Opinions, Religious or Philosophical Beliefs, Trade Union Membership, Genetic Data, Biometric Data, Health Data, Sexual Orientation, Hand and Finger Prints, Criminal Convictions.
