Purpose of Data Collection

LaunchdDarkly ("us") processes data provided by it's customers (hereafter called "members") to provide a software service relating to the best practice (within DevOps) of feature flagging. Members provide information to us about their end-users ("Service Data")such that their application code can change it's behavior without the use of a redeployment. Service Data is utilized only to provide core services to our members. Furthermore, members provide their own personal information to us in the course of forming a business relationship with LaunchDarkly ("Customer Data"). We utilize this information to execute basic administrative/financial needs, improve our own service, do direct marketing, and provide support. Both Customer Data and Service Data are provided to third parties for the express purposes of providing services to our customers (e.g. infrastructure and SaaS providers of our core technology platform), and for operating the company itself (e.g. CRM, Support Tooling, invoicing).
