Purpose of Data Collection

CUJO company provides smart firewall and CUJO AI platform services for home consumers and ISPs/TELCOs. Services consist of specific set of features covering Device Intelligence, Parental Controls and AI Security areas. CUJO collects network metadata information (NetFlow - OSI layer 2 through 4 and analysis it in CUJO cloud or on the CUJO agent itself). Along with network metadata CUJO posses such information as customers email address, phone number and device names/aliases in their homes. The purpose of collecting and storying this data is to ensure quality and reliable services which enables secure home environment and protects IoT devices from hacks. CUJO DOES NOT share any of this information with any 3rd parties. All of the CUJO infrastructure is hosted in cloud service providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure). CUJO complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States. CUJO has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.
