Purpose of Data Collection
F5 receives personal data pursuant to Data Privacy Framework through some of the services that F5 provides to its customers, who are businesses and governments. These services consist of (i) support, maintenance and professional services for certain F5 hardware, and cloud versions of that hardware, and (ii) certain cloud-based network and security solutions. The specific personal data that F5 processes in connection with a particular service varies from service to service and from customer to customer. It may include information such as IP addresses, technical data about devices, and network traffic data. F5 uses this data to provide and improve its services, subject to its contract with the relevant customer.
