Purpose of Data Collection
Sutton International keeps business phone numbers, email addresses, and company physical and mailing addresses on file in order to conduct business with its customers. If credit card information is transmitted to Sutton International for the purpose of remitting payment for goods, the credit card information is submitted to the credit card processor (Intuit) to process payment. Once the credit card has been processed, the credit card information is permanently destroyed using a secure paper shredder. Personally identifying information such as government issued IDs are not collected as only business information is necessary to conduct business to business sales transactions.
