Purpose of Data Collection
Barracuda Networks processes personal data as a global employer with employees and contractors worldwide. The purpose of collecting this data is to comply with its employer obligations, manage compensation, benefits and time reporting, and to grant and manage stock shares to employees. Barracuda Networks also processes personal data as a manufacturer and vendor of network and application security products, which includes data backup and storage. The types of personal data are: employee data, customer/potential customer data, reseller/distributor data, and supplier/vendor data. The purpose of collecting this data is to enable provision of services for which the parties have entered into a contract, or because it is in the legitimate interests of Barracuda to handle such personal information.
