Purpose of Data Collection
Our firm is an information technology infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provider. Our clients bring their data (of any type) and host it in our facilities in physical (colocation) and virtual (cloud) environments. As a result, clients doing business with EU organizations require formal assurance that we are treating their data in accordance with Privacy Shield (among other government and industry mandates). Further, Expedient itself collects data for marketing purposes, typically limited to names and contact information required for follow-up. None of this data is shared with unauthorized third parties.
