Purpose of Data Collection

AIR Worldwide Corporation (“AIR”) collects personal data directly from consumers located in the EU, the UK, and Switzerland when, for example, they visit AIR’s website and provide their personal data online to AIR. In addition, to manage its relationships with its vendors, AIR obtains personal data, such as contact information, of its vendors’ representatives located in the EU, the UK, and Switzerland. AIR also obtains personal data, such as contact information, in connection with maintaining its customer relationships and providing its products and services to customers. As a service provider for its enterprise customers, AIR receives personal data from its customers’ consumers located in the EU, the UK, and Switzerland. AIR’s customers provide the personal data to AIR in connection with AIR’s provision of services to its customers. In this capacity, AIR acts pursuant to its customers’ instructions. The types of personal data AIR’s customers provide include addresses, policy numbers, and details of insurance coverage. AIR processes this personal data in the U.S. to provide risk modeling software and outsourced consulting services (including troubleshooting and support). AIR also obtains and processes personal data about its employees, and the employees of its affiliates located in the EU and the UK when carrying out and supporting human resources functions and activities. AIR may disclose the relevant personal data to recipients such as (1) the company’s affiliates and subsidiaries, (2) third-party controllers and (3) third-party processors the company has retained to perform services on its behalf and pursuant to its instructions. AIR also may disclose the relevant personal data if it is required to do so by law or legal process or in response to lawful requests from public authorities, including to meet national security, public interest or law enforcement requirements.
