Purpose of Data Collection
Huron is a global consultancy, which means that we operate primarily as a business-to-business service provider. We process personal data about our clients and the individuals with whom our clients interact (e.g., clients' own customers and/or employees), client market research participants, a limited number of direct customers (e.g., those who purchase our books directly), website visitors, job applicants, and students (i.e., individuals enrolled in our TeacherReady program). We process personal data for the purposes of providing services, products, and tools to our clients and customers and for related billing, to customize website experiences, consider applicants for positions, provide training and education, conduct data analysis to improve products and services, and to maintain marketing relationships. Data about past and present employees is also collected for the purpose of administering and carrying out the employment relationship. Data is disclosed to third parties (e.g., our service providers) as detailed in our Privacy Statement, including for business-related and legal purposes.
