Purpose of Data Collection
This Data Privacy Framework registration covers Personal Data that is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to IQVIA in the U.S., for the purposes of medical research, medical studies, medical and pharmaceutical services, drug development and discovery, heath care education, customer support, customer services, data analytics, deriving market intelligence, and providing related information technology services. We may collect Personal Data from consumers, healthcare professionals, patients, medical research subjects, clinical investigators, customers, suppliers, vendors, job applicants, business contacts and partners, investors, and government officials. The Personal Data may be transferred to research study sponsors, IQVIA's corporate affiliates, our business partners, customers and third-party service providers performing services related to the purpose for collection (e.g., study data management, clinical research monitoring services, safety monitoring, database hosting, data analytics, etc.). HR DATA: This Privacy Shield Certification covers human resources Personal Data that is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to IQVIA in the U.S. for the purpose of administering personnel services and employment processes in the context of an employment relationship. Personal Data collected from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland relating to this purpose may include, but is not limited to: (i) evaluation of qualifications for an employment position; (ii) provision of employment benefits; (iii) administration and management of employees, compensation, stock options, grants and purchase plans, bonuses, retirement, training, and career planning; (iv) utilizing employee skills and ongoing employee resource allocation; (v) communicating with employees or their emergency contacts; (vi) administration of the company's business including budgeting, manpower planning, and organizational design; (vii) authentication of the individual's identity when gaining access to computer system applications; (viii) personal information data changes; (ix) employment status changes; and (x) travel and expense planning and reimbursement (xi) evaluation of employee performance and time management.

This Policy applies to Personal Information that is Processed by IQVIA on IQVIA websites, mobile applications, and other online offerings (together with any and all future online offerings) operated by or on behalf of IQVIA.
