Purpose of Data Collection
Glint Inc. collects information from its customers and their personnel to provide engagement (satisfaction) and performance surveys. For its engagement solution, survey responses are associated with customer employee data for reporting purposes. For its performance solution, Glint creates an ecosystem of feedback, coaching and growth. The information for these solutions are stored in Glint's system for review by its customers to help them to understand employee engagement and employee performance within their organization. Glint retains the personal data for the duration set by the customer, which generally will not exceed 45 days after the contract expiration. Glint’s customers as the data controllers are responsible for deciding the substance of data protection notices provided to data subjects, including those required by Art. 13 of the GDPR and whether the customer will receive data attributed to a data subject or will receive only aggregated data. The employee data Glint receives usually includes name, hire date, birth year, gender, company-issued email address and location/team information. Additional data can be collected at the discretion of the customer.
