Purpose of Data Collection

Franchise World Headquarters, LLC ("FWH") operates and hosts www.subway.com, (together with any and all future websites operated by or on behalf of FWH, the "Websites") or the Subway mobile application (the, "Subway® App"). Together, the Websites and the Subway® App are referred to herein as the "Sites" whose servers are located in the United States of America ("USA"). FWH provides core business related services such as, but not limited to: sales, research and development, marketing franchises, franchisee training, retail technology, POS system support, store design, legal and accounting services, to the Subway® franchising entities. FWH encourages visitors to contact us with questions and comments. Personal Information may be used in order to respond to customers questions and comments. FWH may work with third parties who provide services, including credit card processing, data analysis, newsletter services, promotional activities, and other administrative services. FWH may share Personal Information of data subjects (onward transfer) with these third parties for the purpose of enabling third parties to provide such services. FWH may disclose Personal Information of data subjects if we believe that we are required to do so: (i) by law; (ii) to comply with legal process or governmental requests; (iii) to enforce our website Terms of Use; (iv) to protect our operations; (v) to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of FWH, data subjects or others; and (vi) to permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain. FWH may be required to disclose personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security and law enforcement requirements. FWH may analyze Aggregate Information in order to enhance web site security; to track the popularity of certain pages of the Sites, the success of our email notifications, traffic levels on the Sites; and to collect other usage data, all of which helps us provide content tailored to data subjects interests, improve the Sites and related services, and otherwise enhance data subjects experience on the Sites. FWH may share Aggregate Information with affiliated entities and other third parties. FWH also processes Human Resources Data for the purpose of administering and carrying out the employment or personnel relationship.
