Purpose of Data Collection

To centrally manage HR workforce operations, including but not limited to: managing and administering payroll and benefits (e.g., pension benefits, annual compensation cycle, long/term and short term cash rewards, updating special payments where necessary or required, tax and reporting income activities, statutory and internal reports, audit controls, processing payroll inquiries, employee cost reporting, etc.), network access, online communications, succession planning, new employee onboarding and intra-company hiring (e.g., recruitment processes, entering into employment agreements, integrating employees into UA's organizational structure and systems), managing and facilitating employee development and training (including, but not limited to tracking of participation/completion tracking, facilitation of training courses and delivery of learning content, leadership development and employee evaluations/manager assessments, determining functional fit for availability of roles), workforce development (e.g., career planning, mentorship, recognition programs and awards, appraisals), ending working arrangements (e.g., managing, documenting, distributing separation and retirement, terminating employment, outplacement, providing references/letters of reference, investigating and/or handling of employment and other legal disputes, communicating with external consultants regarding the dispute), employee satisfaction measures, travel & expenses facilitation and management (including employee mobility, administration of company credit card program, etc.), compliance with accounting, audit, tax, insurance, and regulatory requirements, monitoring of diversity and equal opportunities, business planning, health/safety/security measures (e.g., occupational health and safety in a physical workplace, providing workplace accommodations, protecting IP/trade and business secrets, etc.)
