Purpose of Data Collection
Nutanix uses personal data provided directly by Customers, partners, visitors, prospects, and vendors to: (1) deliver and provide the requested product and/or services, (2) market and promote Nutanix solutions, (3) maintain and support its products, (4) deliver on the contractual obligations to Customers related to the product/ services, such as invoicing, reporting, configuring, granting access to the Customer’s system, and other obligations related to providing the product/ services to Customer, (5) protecting rights, including reducing software piracy and fraud, and (6) coordinating with business partners, (7) performing business-related functions required or permitted under applicable laws and (8) perform other purposes described in our Privacy Statement. Nutanix may disclose personal data to third parties for the purpose of helping Nutanix fulfill the purposes for non-HR data described above. Nutanix uses personal data from employees in order to: (1) manage our workforce, (2) communicate with employees and others, (3) facilitate business operations, (4) fulfill compliance requirements under applicable laws and regulations, and (5) perform other activities for purposes described in our Employee Privacy Policy. Nutanix may disclose personal data to third parties for the purpose of helping Nutanix fulfill the above-described purposes for processing HR data.
