Purpose of Data Collection
SharpSpring provides marketing, sales, and email delivery software that helps marketing agencies and their customers get insight on their own website visitors, convert visitors to leads, maintain visitor communication, and convert leads to business customers. Sharpspring’s customers are responsible for what type of data is collected from their business visitors or customers. Data collected may include personal data, business data, analytics data, application and website usage pattern data, email data, and custom data requested from the visitor by customers of the Sharpspring Platform. Sharpspring has no direct relationship with the individuals whose information is collected on behalf of customers or their partners. Sharpspring may share personal data with a documented and limited number of contracted third parties who process data as service providers to facilitate in providing Sharpspring services. Sharpspring collects similar data for its own use for marketing, research, analytics, sales, and business operations.
SharpSpring's EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield notice applies to data that SharpSpring and customers of SharpSpring receive via the SharpSpring application. It describes the types of Personal Data that SharpSpring collects or receives from users, visitors or customers (other than SharpSpring’s employees) located in the European Union or European Economic Area (collectively “EEA”) or Switzerland, how the Personal Data is collected, used and retained, and the rights and choices granted to the Data Subjects to whom this Personal Data pertains, regarding access to Personal Data about them and the accuracy, retention, and protection of Personal Data about them.
