Purpose of Data Collection

Citrix Systems, Inc. processes personal data in order to deliver to its customers, their end users, or partners a portfolio of hardware, software, mobile and cloud products and services including digital workspaces, application delivery, virtualization, mobility, network delivery, file sharing solutions, and network performance measurement (the "Offerings"). These Offerings are provided and/or marketed through the Citrix.com, ShareFile.com, Podio.com, and RightSignature.com websites. The type of personal data processed varies by the Offering and activity in which the customer, end user, employee or partner participates including, but not limited to: names and email addresses necessary to permit registration or authentication of an account, credit card or other billing information required for the processing of payments, details needed to provide support or information, business information necessary to apply for partner programs, enroll in training, or participate in promotions, forums, online and offline events. Personal data may also be processed as needed to provide communication, authentication, security as well as diagnostic or customer improvement programs. Personal data may also be processed at the request of our large enterprise customers, the extent of which is determined and controlled by the customer in its sole discretion, and may include, but is not limited to: first and last name; title; position; employer; data uploaded to the Offering; limited contact information; and possibly professional life information such as compensation information, geographic location, and ID data such as employee number. Citrix may disclose personal data to trusted third-parties which support Citrix Offerings and activities such as banks, logistics companies, approved business partners, its affiliate companies, marketing agencies, export compliance agents, data storage providers, customer support services, analytic services, and others contracted to provide operations and customer relations management. We also collect personal data from employees, contractors, and interns in order to provide payroll, benefits, software and hardware tools and other services necessary in course of their employment including crime/fraud detection and prevention, security, and for compliance with governmental, legislative, and regulatory requirements.

Description:

Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we obtain through Citrix properties, including websites, products, services, desktop and mobile apps, and other tools offered by Citrix that reference this Privacy Policy (“Online Channels”); offline collection, including Citrix events, surveys, questionnaires, customer user research and evaluations (“Offline Channels”); and third-party sources, including business partners, ad networks and vendors (collectively, the “Offerings”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to the personal information: an individual makes available to Citrix in connection with the recruiting process addressed by the Citrix Recruitment Policy Notice collected as part of a business conduct investigation which described in the Citrix Business Conduct Reporting Privacy Policy processed on behalf of our customers when providing Cloud, technical support and consulting services, which is described in the Citrix Data Processing Addendum. Customer end-users should direct any questions about our customer’s privacy practices to our customer who collected their information.
