Purpose of Data Collection
Workday processes personal data about EEA and Swiss Website Visitors and EEA and Swiss Business Contacts to provide the services requested, conduct business related tasks and to communicate with these individuals. Workday may disclose personal data to Workday's other corporate entities, third party service providers, partners and other related entities. Workday processes personal data about EEA and Swiss employees and job applicants to manage all aspects of the employment relationship. Workday may disclose personal data to Workday's other corporate entities, third party service providers and government entities. Workday, as a data processor, processes personal data from customers and their authorized users who enter personal data into Workday's Cloud-Based Enterprise Applications, as well as personal data that is provided to Workday under a professional services engagement to be input into or accessed within the Workday Service ("Services Personal Data"). Workday processes Services Personal Data for the purposes of providing and supporting the Service for which the Customer has engaged Workday. Workday processes Services Personal Data as instructed by its Customers, and has no direct control or ownership of the personal data it processes. As a data processor, Workday will disclose Services Personal Data only as instructed by the data controller. In some cases in accordance with our customer agreements, we may engage subprocessors to provide processing services on our behalf, in order to provide the Workday services to our Customers.
