Purpose of Data Collection

Aplos is a SaaS based software platform that allows users, non-profit organizations, to manage their financial books, donor lists, and member lists all in one place. The platform offers software for non-profit accounting, church accounting, donor management, and member management. In connection with accessing our platform, we may collect personal information, such as name, billing address, email address, phone, username and password. We collect information when a person registers or opens an account, signs in, pays a bill, contacts us for support, or provides us feedback. We may also automatically collect certain usage information such as Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses, log files, click stream data, unique device identifiers, pages viewed, browser type, any links you click on to leave or interact with our platform, and other usage information collected from cookies and other tracking technologies. We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual. We may also disclose to: contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business or perform analytics and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them: or to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us about our Website users is among the assets transferred. Aplos uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to gather end user's data from financial institutions and may disclose personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid Privacy Policy (https://plaid.com/legal).
