Purpose of Data Collection
Lotame processes two categories of personal data: (1) personal data voluntarily provided by an individual that is interested in using, or has already contracted to use, Lotame's products and services; and (2) personal data processed on behalf of clients of the Lotame products and services. Personal data provided directly to Lotame by an individual that is interested in using, or has already contracted to use, Lotame products and services may include information such as an individual's name, email address, phone number, or other contact information. Personal data processed on behalf of clients using the Lotame products and services may include information such as pseudonomysed cookie IDs, mobile device identifiers (Apple IDFA and Google AAID), IP address, information on online browsing and usage, and browser type. Lotame uses this information to create aggregated groups of devices and audiences based on factors such as age, gender, geography, interests and online actions. Our clients and partners then use these device groups and audiences to deliver customized advertising campaigns and other relevant content to users across multiple devices. In providing its products and services, Lotame shares personal data with other companies that are responsible for the actual display and targeting of online advertising - including demand side platforms, advertising networks, advertising exchanges, and social media networks.
