Purpose of Data Collection
Smaato, Inc. provides mobile advertising technology services that facilitate transactions between advertisers and publishers of mobile applications and mobile websites. Smaato receives personal data from EU and Swiss persons who visit the Smaato website, request additional information about Smaato, or register to use the Smaato services. Smaato also receives personal data from business partners, including advertisers and publishers, regarding EU and Swiss persons. Smaato uses this data for purposes including: (1) facilitation of transactions between the users of the Smaato services; (2) customer support and improvement of the Smaato services; (3) sales and marketing efforts; and (4) internal business and financial processes, traffic quality, fraud detection, and compliance with applicable government and regulatory entities.
