Purpose of Data Collection

Sales-related Activities // In the course of marketing our Services, we will collect information on customers or potential customers in the course of doing business. This may include names, job titles and roles, current employers, employer?s address, as well as contact information such as email addresses or phone numbers. For example, if you reach out to us through our contact page, we will collect your name and email address and/or phone number. Website Visitors // Like most website operators, TrustedSec collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. TrustedSec?s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how TrustedSec?s visitors use its website. From time to time, TrustedSec may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. Service-related Activities // While this is not common, there may be circumstances where we would have to retain evidence that would contain personally-identifying information from our customers in the course of delivering our Services. An example of this is when we have to respond to an incident or collect evidence of adhering to a compliance or regulatory standard.
