Purpose of Data Collection

ORock Technologies is an Infrastructure as a Service Provider. In that capacity, ORock receives and processes personal data from customers. Customers control their environment within the larger ORock infrastructure. ORock provides security on the infrastructure itself, but not on the customer-controlled environment. Customers control the types of personal data that are transferred to the customer controlled environment within the ORock system. ORock does not have access to, or control of, the types of data transferred to the system, the collection of personal data by customers, the access of individuals to any such personal data, the correction, retention or deletion of such data. ORock itself collects contact information, such as corporate email address, corporate physical address, corporate billing information and other related corporate information for purposes of providing ORock services to the corporate customers. ORock does not market its services to individuals or consumers. Corporate contact information is transferred to and processed by Salesforce.com and other relationship management systems for the purposes of (i) marketing to corporate customers, and (ii) providing services to corporate customers. ORock does not currently have employees or contractors in the EEA, and as such, does not collect or process HR data for itself.
