Purpose of Data Collection
A.M. Castle collects and processes Human Resources data for purposes including: • General business administration • Compensation (e.g., stock plan, salary, payroll, and bonus administration) • General human resources management • Performance management (e.g., employee reviews and training) • IT helpdesk and support services • Monitoring of the use of company technology • Exercising a right or obligation imposed by law or contract (e.g., obligations set forth under the Framework) A.M. Castle collects and processes personal data to allow online administration of purchase orders and contracts. A.M. Castle collects and processes device data information, including IP addresses and log-in information, for legitimate business interests, such as to allow its website to operate, to improve its products and services, to determine the nearest Castle facility and availability of inventory, and to measure the number of visitors to the Castle website and the areas of the website that are of most interest to its visitors. A.M Castle provides data to third parties to assist with human resources functions and to assist with its use of personal and device data for its website.
