Purpose of Data Collection
Pinterest Inc. collects, stores and processes personal data from users within the EU and EEA to provide those users with the services available through the Pinterest platform. The data collected by Pinterest may include users’ name, profile photo, the email address or phone number users use to sign up, location data, payment information, information about the devices used to access the Pinterest platform and any other information users provide. Pinterest uses the information to provide its services, prevent fraud, respond to requests from law enforcement, and to protect and improve Pinterest’s services.
