Purpose of Data Collection

​​Purpose: to provide a variety of software-as-a-service offerings, both B-2-B and B-2-C, including associated support and consultancy related work. More particularly, these include: - an on-line tool that allows organisations to track the online attention for a specific piece of research, for example by tracking how often it is tweeted or blogged about, or mentioned in a newspaper article. - an online repository which allows organisations to upload, preserve, share and manage their research outputs including figures, datasets, images, and videos. Users can decide to keep the uploaded information private, share it with specific contacts or make it publicly available. - a research information system that contains (mostly aggregated publically available) information about scientific publications, grants, clinical trials and patent, which can be accessed and searched via an on-line search interface, but also other means, and can be set up as a private instance / integrated with a customer’s own content. - a suite of natural language processing and semantic data extraction technologies to help organisation’s make the most of their internal and external data sources, which can be set-up as a private instance. - an on-line collaborative writing tool, which can also be installed localled (e.g. on a customer’s own servers). - an on-line tool, which can also be installed locally (e.g. on a computer or phone) that allows users to search for articles and publications, import them from various scholarly databases, and organize them within their accounts. - a web-based offerings that allow a research organisations' researchers to record and report their research and further enable the institutions to track their scholarly activities and grant funding organisations to streamline the management and administration of grant-making.
