Purpose of Data Collection

Data concerning the User is collected to allow Doxy.me to provide a way from people to see their healthcare provider remotely, as well as for the following purposes: Analytics, Registration and authentication, Data transfer outside the EU, Handling payments, Hosting and backend infrastructure, Managing contacts and sending messages, Traffic optimization and distribution, User database management, Access to third-party accounts and Infrastructure monitoring. Doxy.me processes audio/video and other media in a purely peer-to-peer encrypted fashion. Only PII of the provider is ever stored or known to Doxy.me. Patient's are anonymous on our system (they don't register accounts and we don't store PII about them). Doxy.me discloses high-level and aggregate analytics data to third parties to help provide better services and uptime.
