Purpose of Data Collection
ProZ.com is an online workplace and job marketplace for freelance translators, translation companies, and others in the language industry. ProZ.com receives and processes personal data relating to data subjects in the EU and Switzerland from ProZ.com's users. The provision of personal data to ProZ.com is at the discretion and instruction of ProZ.com's users, and includes data that they provide in the course of using ProZ.com's products and services. ProZ.com processes personal data in accordance with its privacy policy, for the purpose of providing services to users; auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve ProZ.com services; ensuring the technical functioning of ProZ.com's network; and developing new services. ProZ.com uses a limited number of service providers to process the data described above, such as third-party CRM and analytics platforms, and includes appropriate data protection, security, and confidentiality provisions in its contracts with such service providers.
