Purpose of Data Collection

DocSend provides a website that enables companies and individuals to organize, manage, and control documents and content they send to individuals within their company or outside their company. DocSend processes personal data from its users and customers, as well as their end users. This includes IP address, names, email addresses, browser information like operating system and device type. We also process activity data that includes which portions and for how long content within the DocSend platform is used. We use this information to respond to requests for information about our service, to provide our service, to send marketing communications and other announcements to users and prospective users, and for other legitimate business interests including to personalize the site's experience. Personal Data may be disclosed to certain third party companies and individuals to help us provide, support, analyze, and improve our service (such as providers of data storage services, maintenance services, payment processing, database management, providers of analytics services who help us understand how you use and interact with the Site and the Service, providers of digital advertising services, providers of CRM, marketing, and sales software solutions). These third parties may have access to personal data for the purpose of performing these tasks on our behalf and pursuant to our instructions, under obligations similar to those in our Privacy Policy.
