Purpose of Data Collection
Demio is a webinar platform for marketing teams. During the registration process of a webinar, Demio's registration forms capture at minimum the first name and email address of the webinar registrant. Customers can add new custom fields to registration forms to capture more data, but all this information is used at the discretion of the customer running the event. Demio (the organization) uses the Name and Email to provide a personalized join link for the event and tracks the registrant usage on the webinar (things like length of time on webinar, device, engagement, and what they sent in chat). These webinar related items are saved in Demio for the customer to review after the event. Demio customer's have the ability to send that registrant data to a 3rd party integration via our API or internal integration. Once the webinar is over, they can also download the customer data at any time with a CSV export. With Demio's new GDPR account compliance turned on, Demio will request that registrants confirm that they allow the company to capture their information for marketing purposes. We require this opt-in confirmation to register for the event. Demio registrants have the ability to unsubscribe to any event registration, delete their information from the customer account, and can request for hosts to delete their information at any time. Demio also has the ability to delete customer's registrants data if they request and we can delete customer data at any time (which includes all customer information, webinar data, and webinar media files). Demio does not store any customer Credit Cards or personal data of customers outside of basic account info (Name, Email, Phone, Last 4 card, Company name, and Company email). All billing details are handled by 3rd party company Stripe.
