Purpose of Data Collection

3D Group helps organizations and individuals improve using employee feedback, primarily through 360 feedback, employee satisfaction surveys, and related consulting. We collect only the personal information needed to provide each client with the products and services we offer them. Clients provide 3D group with their employee information, sometimes including some HR data. In order to solicit feedback and to provide accurate results and analysis, we collect contact information (primarily name and email address, occasionally a phone number for coordination or support). In order to aggregate and analyze feedback for groups of employees, we collect demographic information, primarily about employees' roles and history in the organization (such as who their boss is, what department they work in, their location, and their tenure at the organization), though also sometimes about the individual, such as their age or gender. We collect quantitative and open-ended feedback about employees and organizations. The feedback we collect generally represents individuals’ opinions about their organization or about an employee and would not constitute personal data, except where respondents include such information incidentally (such as including an employee's name). We do not disclose to third parties any identifying personal information of the individuals we work with, except as specifically permitted or requested by the clients providing the data or as required by law. We are committed to cooperating with the EU authority or authorities concerned in conformity with the Supplemental Principles on Human Resources Data and the Role of the Data Protection Authorities, and we will comply with the advice given by such authorities.
