Nuance Communications provides speech and imaging applications. Current business products focus on server and embedded speech recognition, telephone call steering systems, automated telephone directory services, medical transcription software and systems, optical character recognition software, and desktop imaging software. Non-human resources data: Data is processed as needed to provide specific products or services to consumers or businesses, for sales and marketing to consumers and businesses; operating, developing, improving and tuning services and products; payment and financial processing and management; supplier, vendor and partner relationship management; security and fraud prevention; compliance with regulatory requirements and requests from governmental, legislative and regulatory bodies; and customer support and relationship management. Data is disclosed to third parties as detailed in our Privacy Policy, including: in situations in which we have consent and for external processing. Human resources data: Data is processed for various employment purposes, including: recruitment and staffing; compensation, benefit programs and payroll; performance management and training; compliance and risk management; workplace management; protection against injury, theft, legal liability, fraud and abuse; and other business purposes. Data is disclosed to third parties as detailed in our Privacy Policy, including for business-related and legal purposes.
