Purpose of Data Collection
Online data, such as user's name, email address, company name, and user-chosen password, collected through customer sign-up, or names, email addresses, company names, as may be collected online by productboard's customers' customers, and placed on productboard's platform. ProductBoard may use the personal information provided to operate the Service and tailor its customers' needs, for billing, identification and authentication, to contact and communicate with you and your end-users about the Service and your and their use of the Service, send marketing materials (subject to your opt-out option), for research purposes, and to generally improve the content and functionality of the Service. ProductBoard may also share personal information with its third-party service providers (such as its credit card processors and hosting partners) to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and other services we use to operate the Service and maintain high-quality user experience. We do not permit our service providers to use the personal information we share for their marketing purposes.
This Policy details our commitment to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our Websites (as herein defined) (“Website Visitors”), who register to use our Services, or who attend or register to attend sponsored events or other events at which the ProductBoard Group participates (“Attendees”). For the purposes of this Policy, the term, “Websites”, shall refer collectively to www.productboard.com as well as the other websites that the ProductBoard Group operates and that link to this Policy and the term “Services”shall refer to our on-demand product management platform, tools and services made available from the Websites. “Subscriber” shall refer to an individual or an entity that has agreed to a Service Agreement for use of our Services.
