Purpose of Data Collection

As outlined in the SignalFx Privacy Policy, SignalFx collects the following personal information: • Contact Information such as your name, email address, postal address telephone number • Billing Information such as credit card number and billing address • Information about your business such as company name, company size, business type • Unique identifiers such as user name, an account identifier, password, Internet Protocol (IP) address • Demographic information such as zip code SignalFx collects personal information for the following purposes: • To provide products, services, or information requested including: (i) managing individual information and accounts, (ii) responding to questions, comments, and other requests, (iii) providing access to certain areas, functionalities, and features of our services, (iv) contacting you to answer requests for customer support or technical support, (v) allowing you to register for events. • Administrative Purposes including: (i) measuring interest in our Services, (ii) developing new products and Services, (iii) ensuring internal quality control, (iv) verifying Individual identity, (v) communicating about Individual Accounts and activities on our Services and systems, and, in our discretion, changes to any SignalFx policy, (vi) sending email to the email address you provide to us to verify your Account and for informational and operational purposes, such as Account management, customer service, or system maintenance, (vii) processing payment for products or services purchased, (viii) processing applications, (ix) preventing potentially prohibited or illegal activities; or (x) enforcing our Services Agreement. • Marketing Our Products and Services including: (i) tailoring content, advertisements, and offers, (ii) notifying you about offers, products, and services that may be of interest to you, (iii) providing Services to you and our sponsors, (iv) for other purposes disclosed at the time that Individuals provide Personal Information; or otherwise with your consent. • Research and development to optimally deliver our existing Services or develop new Services. SignalFx may share your information as described in its Privacy Policy (e.g., with our Third-Party service providers; to comply with legal obligations; to protect and defend our rights and property) or with your permission.
