Purpose of Data Collection
Urjanet provides utility data aggregation services to our customers that use this data to operate various aspects of their businesses. Urjanet extracts utility bill data from a utility provider on behalf of our customers, with their permission. The types of personal data that may be collected include online utility account credentials, name on account, address on account, utility consumption history and payment history. Where we process any personal information on behalf of our customers pursuant to our services agreements, we do so only as data processor and for the support and maintenance of services.
