Purpose of Data Collection

Personica is a marketing provider for the restaurant industry. The data is collected and provided to Personica by its clients, data that is collected is first and last name, month and day of birth, email address, cell/mobile number.  The data is collected when a user completes a signup form (a) in a participating store, (b) at an event, (c)by dropping your business card in a fishbowl or basket or other collection device that states you are choosing to join the client’s email list, (d) by registering online through client’s website, (e) by opting to receive emails from the client’s brand when making a reservation, (f) by opting in to receive emails when signing up for a Loyalty Program, (g) by opting in to receive emails from the client’s brand when accessing their Wi-Fi in store.  The information collected will be used to contact users with offers, newsletters, birthday treats, special promotions and surveys. If a user provides their cell number they are agreeing to receive text (SMS) messages on their cell phone.  Personal data processed by Personica shall not be kept for longer than necessary for the intended process or purposes and as long as the customer wishes to stay in the clients email program.  Personica does not share any data collected with any third parties.
