EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework: Inactive - Lapse
Purpose of Data Collection
We may collect Human Resource information for the purposes of (i) Human resources administration, functions and activities, including recruitment and hiring, performance evaluations and promotions, training, pay and remuneration, pension and insurance and other benefits, tax and other deductions, reporting and management, health and safety, discipline, grievances and termination of employment, calculating prospective headcount changes (fluctuations, termination or headcount addition numbers), talent management and career development, succession and personnel planning; (ii) General business, including day-to-day corporate and administrative activities, invoice review and payment, billing reconciliation, software/hardware inventorying, email/drive size and .pst files reporting; (iii) Customer service and quality assurance, including recording of customer complaints and feedbacks provided to employees; (iii) Legal and regulatory compliance, including obtaining and releasing employee information as required by law or judicial authorities, ensuring compliance with company policies and compliance requirements imposed by regulatory authorities, conducting investigations into security and compliance concerns in cases of suspected employee misconduct and managing a compliance and ethics reporting hotline concerning issues on bribery, corruption, accounting, banking and financial fraud or mismanagement in view of possible investigations; (iv) Due diligence operations, including obtaining and releasing employee information as required by law in the event of sale or transfer of all or a portion of the business or assets; (v) Communications, security and operations management, including measures to protect the company, its personnel and the public against injury, theft, legal liability, fraud and abuse, detection of threats (e.g., attacks, viruses, malware, spam, phishing, malicious web content), employee identification and authentication, information technology and information security management, network or computer monitoring, and facilitating communication between employees (i.e. email and information systems administrations); (vi) Data analytics and statistics. We may collect customer, vendor and supplier information for the purposes of (i) Management of customer relationships and facilitation of business transactions, tracking of incidents, IT maintenance and support issues; (ii) Administration of sales transactions and accountancy, including sales, orders, invoicing, contract management, payments, billing, payment and credit extension and financial reporting; (iii) Management of documents and agreements for tracking contracts, agreements and transactions data including corporate record keeping and reporting purposes; (iv) Anti-corruption and money-laundering screening; (v) Management of marketing activities including managing customer information about offers, products, or services, exchanging information about the products or services, carrying out customer surveys, improving the products and services, improving and developing website services and organizing seminars and training courses. o Types of third parties to whom data may be disclosed: Other Aegion?s affiliates for business or legal reasons in accordance with the purposes set forth above and in line with the Principle of Accountability for Onwards Transfers in the Privacy Shield; third parties acting like an agent, service provider or contractor for customary business purposes.
