Purpose of Data Collection
Personal data other than human resources data. CSG delivers business-to-business customer engagement solutions that help businesses acquire, monetize, engage and retain customers. The personal information CSG accesses, processes and stores is at the direction of the CSG client and enables CSG to provide products/services to its clients. Purposes vary based on the individual client and the products/services provided to such clients, but often include customer acquisition, billing for client services, customer care, consulting, maintenance and support, and training services. CSG uses a limited number of third-party service providers to assist it in providing its solutions and services to clients. These third party providers offer customer support to CSG clients, perform database monitoring and other technical operations, assist with the transmission of data, and provide data storage services. These third parties may access, process, or store personal data in the course of providing their services. CSG maintains contracts with these third parties restricting their access, use and disclosure of personal data in compliance with CSG’s Privacy Shield obligations.
