Purpose of Data Collection
Allergan plc receives and discloses a variety of types of personal data from its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, and third parties in the EU, EEA, and Switzerland consisting of electronic and hard copy personal and sensitive personal data embodied in: (i) correspondence, (ii) documents for conducting business and research, (iii) human resources data, and (iv) adverse event reports collected and processed within the context of Allergan's pharmacovigilance operations. These data are collected and transferred to the US in support of Allergan's employment, research, development, regulatory, marketing, sales, financial, legal, and other commercial and business activities and operations.
