Purpose of Data Collection

The purpose of collecting non-HR data is to provide, operate, improve, and support the GoTo services for customers and their users/attendees. The type of data processed varies by service and may include first name, last name, email address, user name and password, billing contact and address information, details needed to provide support, authentication information, credit card or other billing information required for processing payments, usage data and information generating arising from participation in the services. Personal data may also be processed as needed to provide communication, security, and diagnostics for service improvement. Personal data may be disclosed to trusted third parties which provide service to us or otherwise support the provision of the services to customers such as banks, approved business partners, affiliate companies, marketing agencies, export compliance agents, data storage providers, customer support services, analytics services and others contracted to provide operations and operational support of the services, customer relations management, and partners who assist us to provide features and functionality of the services. Human resources data collection: Personal data about employees and contractors (“HR data”) is collected and processed for various business purposes, in accordance with applicable law and regulations and with a lawful basis. These purposes include providing and administering employment benefits, managing the employment relationship, and complying with legal obligations. The type of HR data processed varies by jurisdiction and may include name and contact data, demographic and background data, national identifiers, employment details, health information, financial information, feedback data from employee engagement surveys, workplace tools and applications data, and public and third-party data (such as LinkedIn profiles). This data may be shared with trusted providers who have a legitimate business need, such as financial advisors, payroll support services, relocation/travel management services, and insurance service providers.
