Purpose of Data Collection

Personal data: Splunk collects and processes personal data (e.g., organization, customer, visitor). The purposes of the processing activities vary, and are further detailed in our Privacy Policy, but often include: order fulfillment; providing, improving and developing products or services; providing customer support and maintenance; sending administrative or marketing communications; personalizing products or services; and systems security. Human resources data: Splunk collects and processes human resources data for recruitment, employment and personnel administration purposes. Third parties: Splunk may share personal data (including human resources data) with third-parties for any of the above purposes, who may process such personal data in the course of providing services to Splunk as further provided in our Privacy Policy. Splunk maintains written contracts with such third-parties in compliance with the Privacy Shield.
